Review Policy

General Information

I am currently accepting select ONLY Young Adult or Middle Grade books for review. You can send emails to mistynl@hotmail.com. Please do send me an email to check with me on whether I will be reading the book first and some details about the book.

I accept ARCs, finished copies, e-books, and audiobooks. If the book is a part of a series, then I may need the previous books. If you are requesting an audiobook review, then I will require a print copy of the book as well. In the case of audiobooks, there will be two reviews: one for the story, and another reviewing the reader/audio performance.

I am NOT accepting interactive media books at this time. Review requests for these books will not receive a reply.

I enjoy YA and MG books in the following genres:

•     Romance
•     Dystopian
•     Contemporary Romance
•     Faeries
•     Fairy tales

I am NOT accepting YA and MG books in the following genres:

•     Non-fiction
•     Memoirs/biographies
•     Extremely political or "hot button" topics
•     Poetry
•     Free verse novels
•     Short story compilations
•     Religious fiction

Reviews

My reviews will be posted on this blog, my tumblr and goodreads. At the same time, I will make a post on my instagram saying that a review of this book is up.

I write fair and honest reviews. As such this does not always mean that I write positive reviews. My reviews are my opinion and if I don't like the book I will reflect that in my review.

    Book stats: Title, author, series status, publisher, official website
    A summary from Goodreads
    My review
    Star Rating
    Crackpot Theories: What I hope/think may happen (Occasionally)
