Waiting on Wednesday #6 - Isla and the Happily Ever After by Stephanie Perkins

"Waiting On" Wednesday is a weekly event, hosted on Breaking the Spine, that spotlights upcoming releases that we're eagerly anticipating.

This week's pre-publication "can't-wait-to-read" selection by me is:

Isla and the Happily Ever After

*Aren't the covers absolutely beautiful! I'm not sure if I'm happy or pissed at the cover change though!*

Author: Stephanie Perkins

Publication Date: 14th August 2014

Publisher: Dutton

Page Count (Hardcover): 352 Pages
Summary from Goodreads:

From the glittering streets of Manhattan to the moonlit rooftops of Paris, falling in love is easy for hopeless dreamer Isla and introspective artist Josh. But as they begin their senior year in France, Isla and Josh are quickly forced to confront the heartbreaking reality that happily-ever-afters aren’t always forever.

Their romantic journey is skillfully intertwined with those of beloved couples Anna and Étienne and Lola and Cricket, whose paths are destined to collide in a sweeping finale certain to please fans old and new.

Finally. Isla and the Happily Ever After is getting published! This book is 2nd on my books published in 2014 list just after City of Heavenly Fire so you must understand just how excited I am! I have loved the series ever since Etienne and Anna. Personally, Stephanie Perkins was the person who made me love Contemporary Romance so much! I can't wait for Isla and the Happily Ever After!

  1. SNAP!. This is my pick too!. Can't even describe how excited I am, plus I kind of need a massive lift after finishing CoHF the other day :/. I completely agree with you about Stephanie as I think her books were the first contemporary books I picked up :)

    Happy Wednesday! :)
